As a child I loved to draw; I guess my obsession with all things art & crafty has always been there but was, for a while, put to one side while “life” happened!
I started my working life at an American Merchant Bank based in Bournemouth. I met Tim, and it wasn’t long before we started Inca Alpaca. We married in 2006 and I left the bank after 11 years when I had our son Oliver. Around the same time we found the perfect parcel of land and began the process of developing Amberley Farm. Georgia came along in 2009 and our little family of four lived in our cosy log cabin whilst we planned and built our own house. We moved into the house in October 2012 and the craftroom / playroom instantly became my favourite room of the house.
With two young children and the alpaca obsession taking over all of our lives, I quickly noticed the lack of cute alpaca characters and reignited my love of drawing to create “Alpaca Pals“.
Tim and I now run Inca Alpaca with a great deal of help from our stockman and I consider myself very lucky to be able to combine Inca Alpaca and Alpaca Pals around being a full time mum. We live in a beautiful corner of Dorset with our two dogs, three cats, two house rabbits, chickens and around 300 alpacas.
My craft obsession has seen me fall in love with many types of crafting; I particularly love creating characters using polymer clay and needlefelting using the fleece from our herd of alpacas. But, above all, I love nothing more than to sit and doodle……
